What is SoftWave® Technology?
SoftWave represents the most effective extracorporeal shockwave technology in the marketplace that utilizes patented electro hydraulic acoustic waves to successfully treat a wide range of medical conditions.

How Does It Work?

SoftWaves are created by means of a high-energy electrical discharge in water. The voltage is discharged between the opposing tips (plus and minus pole) of an electrode. The arcing or so-called spark gap causes an equalization of voltage between the two tips of the electrode whereby a hot plasma bubble is created.
This bubble explodes in all directions, compresses the surrounding water and generates a pressure > 10 MPa within only a few nanoseconds (10-9s). The released
SoftWave energy is focused to various degrees by means of different patented reflector types. The more the SoftWave energy is focused, the deeper its healing effects can be guided into the treated tissue.
SoftWave devices use patented electro-hydraulic applicators and represent the only true “shockwave” device in the market.

SoftWave Technology vs. Other "ShockWave" Technology
Patented Parabolic Reflector
SoftWave technology utilizes a patented parabolic reflector which allows for a larger treatment area with increased accuracy and a lower re-treatment rate.

FDA Cleared
SoftWave technology is FDA 510K cleared for the activation of connective tissue, the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers & registered for pain reduction and improved blood supply.
Doesn't Cause Micro Trauma
The SoftWaves cause the localized cell walls to become permeable and pass proteins through the walls via exosomes that mimic cellular injury which fools the body into thinking it's been injured when in reality, no damage has occurred. This stimulates the body's natural healing response.

Backed By Research
With over 14 years and numerous clinical studies and research from top research centers and universities, SoftWave technology has been proven to safely provide superior results in a wide range of medical conditions.
